BMW ULF modules Available

first generation 84 21 954 552 others are selling, Be
careful on getting older ULF modules as some people have had
difficulties and incompatibilities with the old first
generation ULF modules.
Why use Our
Bluetooth Solution?
All North American BMWs
even without BMW phone currently are already prewired for phone. You can verify by finding the
Prewired for BMW Cellular phone in the trunk area.
Prewiring consists of wiring for all telephone equipment, plus
coding for phone and voice recognition. If your BMW is
prewired for phone, and you install a new generation Bluetooth
module, like we sell, it is unlikely that you will need
to have your car coded.

Step 1) Lift up the lid on the arm rest to
determine if you will need any additional trim pieces to
complete your installation

To do a proper installation BMW X3 you will need the arm rest insert is similar to
the one below shown as part number 5

If your X3 does not have this part you will need to get the
trim piece from your local dealer. Part number and
details are below
P/N 51 16 3 401 961 ~$30 USA Right hand drive
P/N 51 16 3 402 727 ~30 UK Left hand drive

If your car is equipped with the proper trim piece or you
have already purchased this piece, you can easily lift the
rubber cover to expose the 4 torx screws. Remove these
four screws to expose the eject box connecting wires.
Plug your eject box wiring into these two connectors insert
the eject box and screw the new trim piece back in place

Step 2) Verify that you have a microphone
installed. To remove the cover, gently pull down from
the back with your fingers. The cover comes down easily
and snaps back into place. If no mic is present, plug it
into the three pin connector. if you currently have BMW
Assist your mic will already be installed

Step 3) Open the access cover by pressing
the plastic release button just above the cover

Locate the BMW Assist module, OR the
mounting bracket for the Assist module/Bluetooth module at the
bottom of the access panel. Remove the 4 8mm screws on
each end of the assist module and replace with the Bluetooth
ULF module

Remove the Pairing key sticker off the side
of the ULF module and put in a safe place. Plug the 54
pin connector on the ULF Control module, and the CREAM/Purple antenna
wire to the other end of the ULF module. PLEASE NOTE:
I have heard from some customers that they had TWO Cream
colored antenna wires. Make sure that you choose the
Cream/Purple as shown in the below image.

The Bracket will have 3 mounting holes that
are designed to fit the ULF module perfectly. Ensure
that you have the SES jumper plug installed - If you have BMW
Assist, you will have the plug on the Blue wiring harness as
shown below
