Complete BMW Original BMW X5 retrofit kit for BMW X5 Series. This complete retrofit kit comes with the following Original BMW parts, with complete installation instructions and detailed installation support. Retrofit kit is for the BMW X5 equipped with or without DSP audio system. This kit is for BMW X5 built after 09/01 although earlier Build date X5 require the same kit, but will also need a simple adapter harness to change from the older style radio connector.

BMW Retrofit Wiring harness and complete brackets, GPS antenna and trim pieces to convert from no navigation to navigation equipped.

If your BMW was built prior to 09/01 you will need a set of adapter cables that can be purchased from your BMW dealer for approx $125.

Installation should take approximately 6 hours. Installation mostly requires installing the retrofit harness and then simply plugging in the components.

Kit does NOT contain latest North American DVD map. You can purchase the map directly from Navteq or a BMW dealer
