NOTES:
E9x vehicles
If you already have the old Navigation installed in your car the basic kit is all you need. Cars without navigation will need additional trim pieces. Optionally you can buy the center console trim if you want to fit the new iDrive controller, but the old one will work just fine. NOTE:
If you do not have the Navigation system at all you will need to change your dashboard and a few other parts, which we can provide if required but are not part of this kit

E6x vehicles
For all E6x vehicles the basic kit is all you need.
Those of you without the old Navigation might also need one dashboard trim.

US maps will need to be activated and not included with the unit. Regional area maps may be available at your local dealer.
This unit comes with a special CAN adapter that allows to use this device as a plug and play. The CAN adapter does not need a separate dealer activation code with the CAN bus adapter. If you do NOT need the CAN bus adapter (such as replacing existing non functioning factory system) please let us know and the price is slightly less
